3.25 miles steady

Went out in the afternoon for a 3.25-mile route via Garrioch Road at a steady pace. Felt slightly worse than on Tuesday during the run but didn't tighten up so badly afterwards.

Do you think it's your IT band that is tightening and pulling on the hip? I have struggled with that after periods of hard running anyway. Tightness in one area then spreads and soon it's the IT, piriformis, achilles, plantar... pretty much every tendon in one's leg feels like a rubber band about to snap!
The good news is, I saw some of my biggest leaps in improvement after these 'tight' spells (if I could get through it without more seriously debilitating myself!).
Hope you get through this 'phase' alright. Will you still be running the relay on Saturday?

Yes, it looks like the IT band or the hamstring but probably the former. I'm pretty sure I had the exact same injury a long time ago from playing football and it went away soon enough of its own accord. I'll definitely do tomorrow's relay and if I get through it OK I'll do some more light training next week in preparation for the next one, and then see how it looks.
