In the afternoon I tried a route I hadn't run in a while, along Great Western Road to Blairdardie, over the canal bridge, and back along Drumchapel Road, Canniesburn Road and Maryhill Road. I reached Drumchapel Road at about 29:40 which was 20 seconds inside my previous best at that point although I was still going to be outside the hour. Finished in 1:02:33, a route PB by over a minute. Average pace was 6:39 per mile. Weekly total: 49 miles.
