3.5 miles slow, 7.7 miles moderate

After doing some IT band stretching on Saturday afternoon, I was feeling slightly better on Sunday morning so went out with Natasha before breakfast for 3.46 miles via Shakespeare Street and Napiershall Street. I did a lot more stretching over the next few hours and decided to go back out for a longer run in the afternoon, to Canniesburn Toll (or at least the footpath through the nearby woods) and back via Anniesland Cross. I felt particularly unfit on Switchback Road but the hamstring pain was just a minor niggle with only the occasional vague threat of something worse. I extended the last part of the route slightly via Napiershall Street instead of North Woodside Road. Distance came out at 7.74 miles, time was 50:39 for an average pace of 6:33. Weekly total: 36 miles.
