Pyramids

Tonight's club training session was an 8-mile run towards Milngavie and through Baljaffray and Bearsden, incorporating fast bursts lasting 2, 3, 4, 5, 4, 3 and 2 minutes, each with a 1m30s slow recovery. I felt bad after the first one, worse after the second and was considering throwing in the towel, but I was still comfortably in the middle of the fast pack so stuck with it and survived. Even managed to pick up the pace a bit on the last two and was glad afterwards that I'd made the effort.
