Mixed reps

I dug my Newton Motus out of the cupboard for the club's mixed reps session. After a 0.87-mile warm-up, we ran 10 1-minute reps, with a 30-second recovery, in the business park on the other side of Maryhill Road. I timed them as 5 x 2 minutes. On the way out I could usually get past a small building on the left-hand side, and on the way back I would ease off towards the end as I caught up with the others.

We then jogged 0.41 miles back to the car park behind the building nearest Maryhill Road for 10 minutes of shuttle runs. I took them slightly easier than the minute reps but registered a new record max HR of 194, which I suppose could be a false reading. I recorded them as one session, stopping and starting the Garmin between reps.
