With the roads once again too dangerous to run on, I used my cross-country spikes for a run up Baird's Brae and along the canal to the gate just before Lock 27. They were absolutely fine on the packed snow and there were only a couple of uneven spots. 7.44 miles in 49:20, average pace 6:38/mile, HR 159.
