16x300m

The club's Tuesday session was at Scotstoun. After 400m warm-up we were divided into groups to run two sets of 8x300m with a 100m walk/jog between reps and a full lap between sets. There wasn't a fast pack so I was on my own and set off when the group in front reached the end of the back straight. I ran the first couple faster than I had expected or intended but tried to keep it up and stayed fairly consistent throughout the session, helped by a fairly long recovery between reps. I was wearing spikes and began to feel the strain on my calves early in the second set. Jogged a couple of laps afterwards to warm down. Didn't use the Garmin, so no HR readings. 50s, 49s, 50s, 49s, 50s, 50s, 50s, 50s, 51s, 52s, 51s, 51s, 51s, 51s, 51s, 50s
